Job Title: O.R. Technician (CST)
Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay:

• Local: $2,250/week

• Travel: $2,722/week

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical teams in the operating room. The O.R. Technician will perform scrub duties and assist with circulating responsibilities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving

• Set up sterile instruments and supplies

• Maintain sterile field during procedures

• Pass instruments and anticipate surgeon needs

• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts

• Assist with specimen handling and dressings

• Support RN with room setup and patient positioning

• Assist with medication preparation under RN supervision

• Help with room turnover and equipment organization

• Assist with patient transport as needed

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required

• CVOR experience – Required

• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique

• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Completion of accredited CST program
