Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Manager to join our team at Manlius Ace Home Center. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the store runs efficiently and is adequately staffed. You will assist with managing employees and fostering a positive work environment. Other responsibilities include store opening and closing procedures, cash handling and inventory management. Ensuring customer satisfaction with a problem-solving attitude is expected. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hardware store environment, have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical, managing employees and mixing paint. Working hours are generally 11:30am to 8:00pm four weekdays per week and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday.
