Automotive Service Advisor
Full-Time | 5/6 Day Work Week
Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays
Salary: $75,000–$120,000 (inclusive of commissions & bonuses)
Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor with strong communication skills, a high CSI mindset, and a commitment to teamwork and professional growth. The ideal candidate is driven, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities include:

Schedule service appointments; gather customer and vehicle information in advance when possible.

Greet customers promptly and courteously.

Accurately document customer concerns on repair orders.

Conduct or coordinate test drives to verify concerns.

Review service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend needed services.

Advise customers on maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines.

Prepare accurate written estimates for labor and parts.

Set and communicate promised completion times.

Obtain customer signatures and confirm payment method/credit approval.

Coordinate with dispatchers and monitor repair progress.

Communicate any changes in estimates, timelines, or approvals.

Maintain and implement service marketing initiatives.

Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure proper vehicle staging, key security, and documentation.

Maintain up-to-date service forms, menus, and pricing.

Explain completed work and charges to customers.

Enforce quality control measures to reduce comebacks.

Manage inbound calls regarding appointments and repair updates.

Inspect vehicles for potential bodywork and provide estimates.

Oversee cleaning and preparation of new/used vehicles.

Maintain a professional appearance and clean work area.
Qualifications
-
2+ years of Service Advisor experience
-
1+ year in a dealership environment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to meet performance expectations and complete essential duties
