We are seeking a Scientist to design and execute experiments that evaluate and characterize novel formulations, processes, components, delivery technologies, and analytical tools. This role supports Lipid Nanoparticles for diverse modalities, including mRNA-based therapeutics. The successful candidate will perform robust and effective experimentation for formulation, characterization, and stability evaluation of Lipid Nanoparticles. Additionally, the role involves designing and executing process development and scale-up activities to support pre-clinical studies and providing technical representation in cross-functional meetings.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate and characterize novel formulations and processes.
- Perform robust experimentation for formulation and stability evaluation of Lipid Nanoparticles.
- Design and execute process development and scale-up activities for pre-clinical studies.
- Provide technical representation in cross-functional meetings.
- Create and implement project plans with strong scientific rationales and technical approaches.
- Ensure project priorities, milestone deliverables, and timelines are met.
Essential Skills
- Ph.D. with 1-3 years or BS/MS with 8+ years of experience in industry.
- Experience with Lipid Nanoparticles, Formulation Development, and analytical characterization.
- Solid understanding of formulation, analytical characterization, and drug delivery fundamentals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mRNA, protein characterization, and diverse modalities including mAbs and fusion proteins.
- Strong scientific and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead projects independently and work efficiently within a team.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
The role is based in a laboratory environment and requires onsite presence five days per week. The company offers a dynamic and supportive work culture with excellent growth opportunities. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
