Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting and repairing hydraulic systems and components.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic and pump systems and the ability to repair them.
• Identify parts needed for all repairs.
• Additional experience troubleshooting hydraulic hoses, fittings, cylinders, valves and pump equipment are a plus but not required.
• Completes the proper repair paperwork for ordering parts.
• Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.)
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Report all injuries, near misses and accidents immediately to a supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
