Apartment Cleaner
Job Summary:
Cleaner is responsible for ensuring cleaning and upkeep of our apartment community communal areas and UNOCCUPIED units. Position will clean, sanitize, and maintain the property building interiors and communal areas they are assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other common areas,
- Cleans and disinfects communal areas including entrances, hallways, windows, stairways, and laundry rooms.
- During the winter months, you may be required to throw ice-melt (salt) on sidewalks and around entry doors.
- Build relationships and maintain an elevated level of customer satisfaction with our tenants.
- Assist with processing service requests related to cleanliness and property upkeep from residents and coordinate work orders with the maintenance staff.
- Maintain the integrity of the community by ensuring confidentiality of resident and company information.
- Picks up and empties trash containers.
- Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail-oriented and thorough and reliable.
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
- Prior experience in residential/multi-family realty is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
