TSINY is looking for Front Desk Staff for one of our mental health residential programs located in Queens, NY.
Annual Salary: $22, Part-Time
Position Summary
Assure the safety of residents by monitoring them entering and leaving the building. Provide ongoing support to residents by documenting medications, medical referral information, appointments, any other pertinent information and behaviors. Perform various weekly and monthly charting and reports as necessary to maintain the daily functioning of the program. Work in conjunction with case management staff to assure residents’ services and treatment goals are met.
Essential Functions

<li>Distribute resident mail.</li>
<li>Sign guests in and out.</li>
<li>Monitor safety of the building.</li>
<li>Be responsible for general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing and assisting program staff in day-to-day activities.</li>
<li>Type correspondence as requested.</li>
<li>Assist clients in developing skills, direction and motivation.</li>
<li>Assist residents to develop life skills in the direction of maximum autonomy.</li>
<li>Provide crisis management when required.</li>
<li>Be able to sit or stand as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.</li>

Provide five-star hotel-quality concierge services for the finest luxury residential properties. The Concierge pro-actively anticipates the needs of the customer so a solution can be offered before being requested, personalizing the delivery of the service to meet the specific needs of each customer, reminding the customer of scheduled events, appointments, constraints, etc., and protecting the customer from unnecessary or unwanted demands by others. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

<li>Provide personal services of the highest level that may include, but not limited, to restaurant reservations, recreation requests, floral orders, shoeshine, etc. They also have the ability to make available maps, literature, and other materials</li>

<li>Serve as information liaison to Community Manager. Follow up with client to assure successful completion</li>
<li>Maintain consistent presence at workstation</li>
<li>When so directed, participate in resident organization and functions. Record reservations for guest and conference/party rooms. Forward event planning opportunities to Resource Concierge</li>
<li>Use professional telephone etiquette in handling resident requests. Use work order system when necessary</li>
<li>Be knowledgeable of local current attractions or events (concerts, theater, sporting events, special events, and more)</li>
<li>Assist and coordinate with new move-ins as necessary</li>
<li>Provide administrative assistance with resident files, ledger cards, which may include information regarding current employment, work telephone, number of vehicles parked on property, license numbers, assigned parking number/permit, and emergency information</li>
<li>Maintain key log and all applicable data sheets. Take ownership of all appropriately loaned keys to vendors, contractors, realtors, and guests</li>
<li>Implement recycling or other related cost-saving environmental programs, as approved by supervisor</li>
<li>Assist with package deliveries. Log receipts of packages delivered for homeowners and notify homeowners for pickup. Make sure each unit file has a release of liability form for accepting packages, etc.</li>
<li>Provide access control services and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose for being on property</li>
<li>Provide continuous updates, edits, reviews, and additions to the electronic database (list of vendors, restaurants, service providers, etc.)</li>
