CityParks Soccer teaches kids of all levels the basics of soccer in NYC parks through informal play and free instruction. Use of all equipment is provided. CPF is seeking to hire experienced college players, coaches or PE teachers to provide free soccer instruction to children in NYC parks this Spring, Summer and Fall. Spring and Fall classes will typically take place during afterschool hours or on weekends from 9am - 12pm. Summer classes will take place on weekdays 9:00am - 12:00pm. Instructors will be trained by CPF and will be seasonal employees of the CityParks Play Department. Our program sites are throughout NYC, however staff are usually assigned to work in their borough of residence.
In 2024, CPF piloted an initiative with Nike to increase female participation and coaching opportunities in the program, including new sessions geared for girls ages 13-16.&nbsp; This initiative will continue to expand in 2025.
Compensation: commensurate with experience and can range from $20 to $30/hour

Job Description
TGA Athletics in Northern Westchester is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS to KIDS.
We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities.
Coaches can work 1 day per week all the way to 6 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. 
We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required.
We have programs year round and work with coaches' flexible schedules. We have programs all over Northern Westchester, and will do our best to schedule you close by where you would be driving from. We will compensate for travel if we ask you to drive more then 10 miles to a location.

POSITION SUMMARY:
 
The first year International Summer Camp Counselor will assist the Frost Valley YMCA Summer Camp Directors and Leadership teams. International Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for the 24/7 supervision of cabin groups, planning and participating in daily activities with cabin groups as well as assisting counselors in planning activities. Senior Counselors will interact with Directors, counseling staff, parents. First Year Summer Camp Counselors are an essential part of check in and check out, assisting with luggage and meal times.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Supervise and care for campers in loco parentis from the time the first camper arrives at Frost Valley to the time the last camper leaves Frost Valley.</li>
<li>Create a safe and fun environment for campers participating in summer camp programs</li>
<li>Be an active member of a small community, including, but not limited to, giving your opinion in an appropriate manner, taking on delegated responsibilities and helping to maintain the physical, emotional and mental health of each team member.</li>
<li>Maintain a friendly, cooperative, and professional relationship with your co-counselors, Village Chief, director and any other staff members or outfitters.</li>
<li>Be a good role model for fellow staff and campers at all times. This includes modeling acceptable behavior, language, Frost Valley’s character values and outdoor standards.</li>
<li>Ensure that Frost Valley Summer Camps achieves the highest standard and meets the mission and goals of both the Summer Camp Department and Frost Valley YMCA, as well as expectations of customers.</li>
