Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Starting $17.00 per hour
Allied Universal® is hiring a Site Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)</li>
<li>Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met</li>
<li>Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS</li>
<li>Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift</li>
<li>Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)</li>
<li>Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.</li>
<li>Respond to client requests</li>
<li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>
<li>Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties</li>
<li>Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li>
<li>Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li>
<li>Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders</li>
<li>Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
<ul>
<li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle</li>
<li>Must possess one or more of the following:</li>
<ul>
<li>Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard</li>
<li>Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets</li>
<li>Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry</li>
<li>Associate's degree or higher in any discipline</li>
</ul>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)</li>
<li>Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors</li>

Security Site Supervisor

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Principle Objective of Position: The Regional Head of Facilities is responsible for the oversight of physical operations and maintenance work across all Solomon communities in the Northeast region (NY, NJ, PA). This role is responsible for the development and deployment of regular and preventative maintenance programs, apartment and grounds inspections, service team selection, training and evaluation, ensuring the timely completion of service requests by service teams, technical assistance, and the oversight of special project.
 
Requirements/Experience
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.</li>
<li>Ten (10) or more years work experience in maintenance, with at least five (5) years of experience supervising service teams is required.</li>
<li>Five (5) or more years work experience in multi- family property maintenance preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to remote communities regularly w/ occasional overnight stays.</li>
<li>EPA Type II HVAC certifications required.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of and experience in drywall, electrical, carpentry, flooring, plumbing, painting, appliances, and lock change required.</li>
<li>Experience in asset management including capital improvement projects and remodeling required.</li>
<li>ACM, LBP, Moisture Management and OSHA-30 hour training/certifications to be obtained within 1.5 years from time of employment.</li>
</ul>
 
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Build, plan, implement, and manage the overall regular and preventative maintenance programs, standards, and initiatives.</li>
<li>Manage and oversee physical operations and maintenance work across all regional communities to ensurecode compliance, gain efficiencies, and reduce costs.</li>
<li>Conduct regular site and apartment inspections quarterly or as otherwise prescribed for adherence to company maintenance and safety standards; document and prioritize action plans based upon inspection findings.</li>
<li>Ensure communities are prepared for 3rd party inspections and attend such inspections when needed.</li>
<li>Ensure completion of service requests received by service team and review with management as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure maintenance reports are completed and submitted in a timely and accurately manner.</li>
<li>Approve purchase orders and work in collaboration with Community Managers to develop budgets and oversee their implementation.</li>
<li>Work with Community Managers and Service Managers to ensure adherence to apartment turns within budget and 5 business day make ready time frame.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies at each community; work with Community Managers and Service Managers to service and replenish as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain site-based facility licensing compliance with local, state, and national licensing authorities as needed.</li>
<li>Work with community managers to address staffing concerns and ensure all communities are appropriately staffed.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the HR Department and Regional Leadership Team develop, implement and lead Solomon’s Safety and Skills Training Program(s).</li>
<li>In collaboration with the HR Department and Regional Leadership Team, create and develop onboarding program(s) for new service team members orientation and career path development plan.</li>
<li>Oversee training of Service Technicians and Service Managers.</li>
<li>Manage regional contract specs and bids, bid processes, third party consultants, contractors, and vendors in collaboration with Community Managers and Senior Management to standardize and maintain common service pricing spanning multiple properties.</li>
<li>Act as a resource to Community Managers, Service Managers, and other team members in hiring, terminations, evaluations, etc.</li>
<li>Coach and develop service team members</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
