SUMMARY
Under general direction, is responsible for providing speech and language assessment and therapy of students pursuant to the Individualized Family Service Plan, Individual Education Plan or Interim Individual Education Plan. Participates in consultative process with parents and team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Speech and Language Pathologist will include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Provides speech and language assessment and evaluation to determine student’s developmental level and needs. Analyzes test results and prepares written summary to Early Intervention, CPSE, CSE and other regulatory, referring or oversight organization.</li>
<li>Plans and conducts speech and language interventions in accordance with established goals.</li>
<li>Implements testing procedures to evaluate and monitor student progress as required by appropriate regulatory agency. Provides written report of results to EI/CPSE/CSE.</li>
<li>Assesses oral motor development and ability to intake food orally. Develops a treatment plan appropriate to identified disabilities.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of latest alternative communication techniques.</li>
<li>Implements appropriate utilization of AAC devices.</li>
<li>Provides in-service training regarding utilization of AAC devices and techniques.</li>
<li>Maintains daily and monthly attendance records and progress notes.</li>
<li>Provides therapy progress reports to parents/guardians and appropriate team members. Meets and communicates with parents/guardians regularly in writing or verbally.</li>
<li>Participates in team meetings and case conferences as required.</li>
<li>Ensures individuals receive services appropriate to their needs and consistent with educational goals and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Participates in Initial Evaluation and Intake processes.</li>
<li>Completes all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.</li>
<li>Provides supervision to students and CFY’s as assigned.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as requested.</li>

<li>As recruitment and talent acquisition leader, collaborates with departments and managers to write, design, price, and post positions to meet identified needs, aims, and mission of the department

<li>Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of department goals, objectives and systems. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in the efficiency of department services provided. </li>
<li>Advises employees on the interpretation of personnel policies and procedures, ensuring programs are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Provides coaching, resources, and guidance and works collaboratively with the Legal department and HR colleagues in the resolution of employee relations issues.</li>
<li>Prepares and files required State and Federal reports, including the Equal Employment Opportunity report, census, and other reports as required.</li>
<li>Works collegially with the Director in discharging the practice of leadership related to department management, HR Planning and organizational consulting, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, and senior management group services including executive recruitment.</li>
<li>Supports the work of the HR Manager for Benefits &amp; Finance through full cross-training on position functions such as payroll production, benefits administration, and reporting functions. </li>
<li>Carries out administrative work and records retention protocols related to the work of the HR Department.</li>
</ul>

Leads and/or collaborates with others both within the HR department and cross-departmentally on special projects as assigned.
QualificationsRequired

<li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in human resource management, with a focus on talent acquisition, hiring, training, compensation, and employee relations</li>

Changing technologies and the growing complexities of human resources policies and practices requires the position to be knowledgeable about computer systems, storage and retrieval software, and the utilization of a widening array of digital and mobile communication devices and applications. 
Proficiency with ADP WorkforceNow, or other HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office is required.
Preferred
A working knowledge of the Episcopal Church is preferred but not required.

Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Safety Advisor for an airport construction project at John F. Kennedy Airport in Jamaica, NY. 
 
Our Expectations: 
 
Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture. 
 
Responsibilities:
· Implements, promotes, and maintains Contractor Site Safety Plan 
· Conducts safety inductions for all Contractor and Subcontracted Site Staff 
· Coordinates and assures that all Contractor and Subcontracted staff is inducted in customers safety plan
· Executes daily and weekly safety inspections, reports and corrects findings
· Checks and assures that Vanderlande subcontractors have all required permits to work, assist subcontractors in obtaining these.
· Assures that daily toolbox talks are executed, signed by workers and filed.
· Organizes and executes weekly safety discussion for Contractor Site Team.
· Collects worked hours Contractor (Vanderlande) and subcontracted staff and generate monthly reports,
· Investigates and reports any incidents by Contractor and subcontracted staff.
· Assists in generating Job Hazard Analyzes (JHA) and Work Method Statements (WMS).
· Participates in Customer Safety Meetings and is actively involved in the execution safety program.
· Manages drug and alcohol program on site (if applicable) 
 
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of safety experience in general construction and heavy civil safety
· Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines 
· OSHA 10 certification 
· NYC Site Safety Training (SST) Card. If you do not have this, you will need to obtain it prior to starting on the project. 
· Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies 
· Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment 
· Excellent organizational and motivational skills 
· Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability 
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities 
· Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
· Demonstrated ability to identify known potential exposures and lead the implementation of corrective actions 
· Demonstrated computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs 
· Demonstrated management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and train others
· High School Diploma, Technical degree preferred 
· Valid passport in the event international travel is required 
· Ability &amp; willingness to travel up to 75% (domestic)
