We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care and the teaching and supervision of Mount Sinai Urology residents and students in an academic community hospital setting. We are most in need of general urology but have subspecialty need for urologists with additional experience in robotics, reconstruction, female/pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction and endourology. The division has multiple physician assistants, robots, urology residents and medical students rotation through the service at all times.
Candidates must have a MD degree, Urology Residency or Clinical Fellowship training and have a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We are open to international candidates who completed a clinical fellowship in the US and need H1B Visas or to work in an underserved area to become American Board of Urology eligible. The Arena Group is seeking a Weekend Freelance Commerce Writer to contribute to our daily commerce content across our portfolio of brands, including TheStreet, Parade, Men’s Journal, Autoblog and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating commerce content for a range of lifestyle topics, including but not limited to home and garden, consumer and personal electronics, fashion and beauty, and general Men’s and Women’s lifestyle product categories. Responsibilities will include pitching daily stories to the commerce editors, writing new stories and updating and optimizing evergreen content. The ideal candidate has experience writing commerce content in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, specifically with sourcing and writing about compelling deals. 
 
This is a freelance position with competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience. Our expected hourly pay rate is $25 - $35 per hour. Minimum availability required is from Thursday through Sunday

What You’ll Do:

Pitch daily to the commerce editorial team
</li>
<li>
Write 3+ commerce stories a day with the ability to pivot quickly if a more pressing priority arises
</li>
<li>
Monitor daily news/deals cycle and flag commerce opportunities
</li>
<li>
Update and optimize existing stories with fresh info to keep commerce content up-to-date and useful for readers
</li>
<li>
Work closely with team members on tentpole events like Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday
</li>
<li>
Build articles in the CMS cleanly and with commerce best practices in mind
</li>
</ul>
What You’ll Bring:

Experience writing high-quality commerce content that delivers service and value to readers 
</li>

Extensive experience creating deals content with a track record of driving revenue and audience engagement
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of digital content best practices, like SEO, AP Style, and analytics 
</li>

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
</li>
<li>
Collaborative and team-oriented
</li>

Ability to write fast, without compromising accuracy, brand integrity, or voice

A sense of fun, urgency, and a can-do attitude

Bachelor’s degree in journalism/related field or a portfolio of published work
