Junior Technical Support Representative
NYC, NY
3 month contract to hire
3 days on site
Focus:
Supports external users or clients—often working in a help desk or customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user or customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone.
- Provide guidance on software usage, features, and best practices.
- Log and escalate technical issues to engineering teams if beyond scope.
- Document common problems and solutions in a knowledge base.
- May assist in onboarding or training customers.
Skills Expected:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).
- Basic technical understanding (e.g., browser behavior, app config).
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
Typical Environment:
- Customer-facing role in SaaS, tech support, or managed services.
- Usually part of a Customer Success, Technical Support, or Help Desk team.
