Junior Technical Support Representative
NYC, NY
3 month contract to hire
3 days on site
Focus:
Supports external users or clients—often working in a help desk or customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user or customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone.
  • Provide guidance on software usage, features, and best practices.
  • Log and escalate technical issues to engineering teams if beyond scope.
  • Document common problems and solutions in a knowledge base.
  • May assist in onboarding or training customers.

Skills Expected:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).
  • Basic technical understanding (e.g., browser behavior, app config).
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.

Typical Environment:

  • Customer-facing role in SaaS, tech support, or managed services.
  • Usually part of a Customer Success, Technical Support, or Help Desk team.
