BASIC FUNCTION: 
 
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides clinical oversight, guidance and advice to the Seneca Nation Health System (SNHS) as it relates to quality, patient safety, clinical programs, public health, provider staffing and retention and staff medical education. The CMO acts as a liaison between the SNHS. The CMO coordinates educational activities that follow the rules, regulations and customs of the Seneca Nation and external and regulatory and licensing bodies.
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ol>
<li>Oversees the continued development, implementation and maintenance/review of all medical policies, procedures and protocols necessary for quality ambulatory health care programs.</li>
<li>Consults with and advises Director of Quality and Director of Nursing to maintain and monitor quality assurance and continuous quality improvement measures covering in-house clinical care.</li>
<li>Consults with purchased/referred care (PRC) by attending PRC meetings.</li>
<li>Fully participates in medical staff activities such as medical program review and organizational functions including meetings and committee assignments. Chairs staff medical Provider meetings, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Participates in the Professional Services and Continuous Quality Improvement standing committees of the Board of Directors and other committees as needed.</li>
<li>Actively participates in provider recruitment for on-site services.</li>
<li>Advises Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all changes to existing clinical programs and develops new clinical programs as needed.</li>
<li>Member of the SNHS EHR committee to ensure SNHS clinical staff and SNHS providers have a voice in the decision making processes for the electronic medical record.</li>
<li>Serves as the Medical Advisor for the Seneca Nation and SNHS during community health emergencies.</li>
<li>Works with the SNHS CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of Quality to monitor staff compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies in regards to patient care and operations management. Monitors performance against regulations and standards, identifies, analyzes and corrects deficiencies to include all appropriate performance/dashboard measures.</li>
<li>Develops and promotes preventive health care programs across the SNHS departments.</li>
<li>Provides clinical care in accordance with established medical practices, standards of care and within the framework of SNHS.</li>
<li>Provides clinical supervision for Staff Physicians, medical consultants, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Contract employee supervision includes evaluations and disciplinary measures.</li>
<li>Monitors and reviews the standards of the SNHS Professional Staff Bylaws.</li>
<li>Actively participates in the implementation and maintenance of Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives as well as applicable QA/QI programs.</li>
<li>Responsible for provision of peer review for licensed clinical providers providing on-site services. This review process will monitor quality of care, patient volume activity and operations.</li>
<li>Regularly reviews and revises medical care policies and protocols as standards of care are revised and/or as directed by licensing, funding and program organizations.</li>
<li>Responsible for reviewing and updating all medical unit standing orders.</li>
<li>Responsible for the NYS NYSIIS Vaccine program.</li>
<li>Responsible for the CLIA waived laboratory certificate and radiology registration.</li>
<li>Manages, by providing leadership and specific direction, all patient care professionals. Sets the standards of professional performance for medical and clinical support staff.</li>
<li>Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in his/her field of expertise.</li>
<li>Shares in the administrative functions that directly impact medical services and collaborates with the administration on overall planning and budget activities.</li>
<li>Assures delivery of quality services to all patients. Reviews incident reports and Comment Complaint Grievance Response System reports, recommends and implements measures to address gaps or deficiencies and makes recommendations for improvements.</li>
<li>Attends all mandatory administrative and staff meetings, trainings and in-services.</li>
<li>Adheres to all policies and procedures of the department, Seneca Nation, and SNHS.</li>
<li>Supervises and advises the Medical, Dental, Optical, Pharmacy and Diabetes Units on clinical and management issues.</li>
<li>Shall provide in-service training to SNHS staff on medical issues and shall assist in program development as requested.</li>
<li>Adheres to agreements set forth in employment contract.</li>
<li>Participates and cooperates in the re-credentialing process with the Contracting and Credentialing Coordinator.</li>
<li>Maintains patient files according to SNHS policies and procedures and the Privacy Act of 1974.</li>

Position Description
The Uterine Cancer Program Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of SHAREs uterine cancer program, ensuring alignment with patient needs and emerging trends in the field. This role is responsible for researching, planning, and implementing cancer-specific programs that will not only educate those in the uterine cancer community but also empower them to take an active role in their treatment, no matter where they are in their treatment. The Uterine Cancer Program Director will supervise the Uterine Cancer Patient Support Coordinator and implement strategies to grow the volunteer base and patient support resources. 
 The Uterine Cancer Program Director may also be asked to work on specialized initiatives assigned by the VP of Patient Support and Education and other senior leadership. This position will serve as the spokesperson, leader, and moderator for all uterine cancer-specific programming, industry panels, events, and annual conferences. 
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Manage and execute all of SHAREs existing uterine cancer programs and develop new programs based on the needs of the uterine cancer community.</li>
<li>Supervise Uterine Cancer Patient Support Coordinator, providing weekly guidance on support groups, the Support Line, and other initiatives. Work with the Coordinator to recruit and train new group facilitators and Support Line volunteers.</li>
<li>Develop and manage educational programming, including researching topics and recruiting and interacting with gynecologic oncologists and other medical professionals as speakers. Moderate up to 8-10 annual webinars. Review and edit program slides, scripts, and speaker bios.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other SHARE disease areas and the GYN Cancer team, as well as external organizations, on joint webinar topics. Interface with SHAREs Senior Program Manager and Program Assistant on all webinar logistics.</li>

Special Projects:

<li>Development of an animated version of the uterine cancer novela in collaboration with multiple novela team members. </li>
<li>Oversee dissemination and promotion of the digital and print versions of the uterine cancer novela, as well as the animated version when completed.</li>
<li>Plan and execute strategies to continue growing participation in our HealthUnlocked uterine cancer online forum and add any content that may be of interest to community members. </li>
<li>As one of the founding partner non-profit organizations affiliated with the Spot Her For Endometrial Cancer campaign, participate in strategic planning for the campaign as well as any relevant in-person initiatives.</li>
<li>Project management for special SHARE/Bag It uterine cancer bag, including liaising with the Bag It team, creating and editing content, and promoting the bag.</li>
<li>Liaise with other SHARE programs, including AfroSHARE and LatinaSHARE, on any special projects that arise </li>

Summary:

A Lawman HVAC Assistant Project Manager is responsible for working closely with the project managers to organize, improve, and implement filing systems, internal processes, and project databases. This role helps manage all documentation and systems pertaining to Project Management and the HVAC Department.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:

<li>Write purchase orders with shipping procedures</li>
<li>Prepare and review schedule of values for each job</li>
<li>Prepare timesheets with cost codes weekly for field employees</li>
