VP, Corporate Strategy

VP, Corporate Strategy -- Global Atlantic Financial Company (NY, NY): Responsible for eval & executing on co.'s broader strategy & key growth initiatives, incl exploring key strategic mkts, joint venture partnerships & M&A opp'tys. Work closely w/ Fin'c, Investment, Risk & Indiv Mkts teams & collab closely w/ KKR on strategic initiatives as well. REQ'MTS: Bachelor's (US or foreign equiv) in Math, Stats or rel field, + 5 yrs' exp in investment banking, structured fin'c, investing, insurance / reinsurance, asset mgmt or another similar transactional role. 5 yrs' exp in following: working w annuity & life insurance product designs, incl fixed annuities, fixed indexed annuities & variable annuities to understand & eval liability behavior & performance; building models of life & annuity liabilities under both US Statutory & GAAP frameworks for reserving & projection purposes; performing long- term projections of balance sheet & income statements for insurance co.'s, incl pro forma analysis for M&A; analyzing capital req'mts & solvency of insurance co.'s under statutory Risk- Based Capital & rating agency frameworks; working w/ Capital IQ to extract data on liabilities & assets across US life & annuity insurance co.'s & perform analysis; & using PowerPoint, Word, & Excel to prepare detailed presentations summarizing technl insurance concepts for sr mgmt. 4 yrs' exp in following: using Bloomberg to gather equity & credit data & trading info on publicly traded insurance co.'s to eval value.
