IT: Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks Softw Engr in NY, NY. Incls but not limited to building, maintaining & improving high-frequency, low-latency & robust live mkt data ingestion & distribution sys that connects most mkts in world w/ Two Sigma. Designing & implementing softw components to process incoming mkt data & produce both historical & live mkt data artifacts for research. Note: Co. "Hybrid" work attendance policy: In-office work attendance req'd at aforementioned office address for collab days based on each team's req'mt; telecommuting / working from home permissible for remainder of same month. Must have Bachelor's or equiv in CS, Electrical Eng'g or rel field. Position does not req specific yrs exp but req's listed skills. Must have demonstrated knowl of dvlpg high-performance, low-latency softw using C/C++. Must have demonstrated knowl of object-oriented prog'g using Java. Must have demonstrated knowl of writing automation & utility scripts using Python. Must have demonstrated knowl of distributed real-time sys's. Must have demonstrated knowl of relational dbase mgmt. sys's (MySQL & PostgreSQL) & SQL prog'g. Must have demonstrated knowl of dvlpg softw on Unix sys's. Must have demonstrated knowl of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Must have demonstrated knowl of version control tools (Git). Must have demonstrated knowl of Unix command line & Bash shell scripting. Must have demonstrated knowl of networking, connectivity, & Linux srvr technologies. Must have demonstrated knowl of fin'l instruments & mkt microstructures involved in trading. Must pass co.'s req'd skills assessment. Employer will accept any amount of coursework or exp w/ req'd skills. Rate of pay: $165,000-$325,000/yr (may also be elig for other forms of compensation & bnfts).
