Accessories Company looking for a Full-Time Assistant to support the sales department and its daily needs. Our ideal candidate is passionate about growing our retail partners business, wants to learn as much about sales and pet accessories as possible, and considers themselves creative and an influencer in their own right. This person is a skilled communicator!
Responsibilities
· Must have experience with customer service and/or working closely with a sales team.
· Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
· Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
· Placing inventory orders and tracking shipments.
· Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
· The ability and confidence to work with high-profile customers.
· Managing client relationships by continually following up with members to learn more about recent activities and achievements and supporting effective email communication.
· Providing basic customer service and help to members.
· Occasional trade show functions may be required such as: travel, booth setup, interacting with prospects, clients, affiliates, and press at the show, etc.
· A plus if candidate has experience working with or for a distributor.
Requirements
· A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
· Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar field
· Candidates that have a background in the following industries or job functions are preferred: Sales, Retail, Marketing, Customer Service, Business Development, Client Relations
· Must be fluent in English, both speaking and writing (Spanish is a plus)
· Superior communication skills are necessary, including excellent email correspondence and the ability to clearly present ideas and concepts to internal teams as needed.
· A proven strength with problem-solving and resourcefulness; a desire to work hard and succeed!
· Be outgoing, personable, friendly, and engaging to help build rapport and foster rock-solid relationships with clients.
· A social 'native' – someone who lives and breathes all things social, with a constant finger on the pulse of the latest trends and emerging platforms.
· Understanding of the social media universe, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Blogs, email marketing, etc.
· Must be creative and innovative with very high attention to detail.
· Act with sense of enthusiasm and urgency -- a positive attitude required, and an ability to keep up with fast-paced environments, work effectively under deadlines, and juggle several assignments simultaneously.
