As a Services Sales Lead, you will play a key role in driving services-focused sales engagements within a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role requires a consultative, value-based approach to uncover client needs, scope implementation strategies, and deliver tailored solutions that align with business goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, and Alliances—to ensure seamless transitions from deal closure to service delivery. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, you will influence strategic decisions, manage complex negotiations, and support long-term customer success. This position is well-suited for a dynamic communicator with strong financial services expertise and a passion for shaping enterprise service delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the services sales process, including scoping, pricing, and positioning implementation strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Partner with Solutions Consultants, Sales, and internal teams to close strategic deals and resolve complex service challenges.
  • Present Customer Experience offerings to prospective clients, clearly articulating technical and functional value.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and product stakeholders to ensure accurate proposals, contracts, and delivery commitments.
  • Support discovery sessions to define project requirements, timelines, and implementation resource needs.
  • Negotiate Statements of Work and service agreements, ensuring smooth handoffs to consulting teams for execution.
  • Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with tailored service-specific content.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting of service delivery capacity while identifying upsell opportunities in collaboration with Customer Success.
  • Represent the services organization at client engagement events and conferences, contributing to brand visibility and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in services sales, business development, or related roles within financial services or asset management.
  • Proven track record of executive-level relationship management and negotiation of service contracts.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with consultative, value-based selling methodologies and SaaS solution delivery.
  • Deep understanding of asset management or financial services industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-driven, organized professional with excellent time management skills and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Bonus: Experience with Agile methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS, APIs, serverless architecture), and insights into asset management trends.
