Position Summary
This position is for a strategic and technically minded President to lead Hudson Clean Heat, LLC (HCH), a 2Hudson company and its growth as a premier provider of sustainable HVAC solutions in the greater NYC metro area and surrounding states. As a startup within a holding company structure, HCH demands a leader capable of driving rapid, disciplined scale-up while navigating regulatory challenges and fostering long-term business partnerships. 2Hudson is the holding company for Miller Proctor Nickolas, Inc. who will be the hiring company for this role up until the formal launch of Hudson Clean Heat, LLC in 2026.
Reporting directly to the CEO of 2Hudson, the President will be responsible for building out HCH’s operational framework, commercial strategy, and go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in clean technology, industrial heat pumps, OEM partnership development, and team leadership. This is a mission-critical role tasked with both establishing market leadership and preparing the next generation of leadership within 12–18 months.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Define and execute HCH’s strategic vision to establish it as the leading sustainable HVAC solution provider in the region.
- Develop and manage HCH’s business planning, monthly financial and performance reporting, and quarterly forecasts.
- Identify, evaluate, and contract new manufacturers and technology partners to expand the company’s product and service portfolio.
- Ensure consistent alignment with evolving environmental and building regulations, including NYC DOB, Local Law 97, and decarbonization mandates.
Operational & Financial Management
- Lead the development and execution of the annual business plan in alignment with 2Hudson objectives.
- Implement scalable systems for sales, engineering, forecasting, and customer engagement.
- Build and monitor operational KPIs and P&L metrics to ensure target achievement.
- Lead efforts in rolling forecasting and scenario planning to adapt to market shifts.
Team Building & Talent Development
- Directly supervise and mentor the Sales Representative and Application Engineer, with responsibility for growing the team as the business scales.
- Foster a results-driven and collaborative team culture with a focus on accountability, transparency, and structured growth.
- Prepare and mentor the next President, ensuring a seamless and effective leadership transition at the end of term.
Market Positioning & Partnership Management
- Cultivate relationships with key customers, contractors, and technology providers.
- Represent HCH with professionalism and authority in front of clients, trade associations, and government/regulatory stakeholders.
- Lead marketing and thought leadership efforts in collaboration with 2Hudson's central marketing function.
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership experience in clean tech, HVAC, or energy solutions industries.
- Proven success in scaling industrial heat pump businesses across international markets.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable HVAC systems, heat pump technology, and related building regulations.
- Experience negotiating and managing high-value OEM and distributor agreements.
- Track record of leading change management and organizational growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Strong leadership style: structured, pragmatic, and collaborative.
- Fluent in English; international experience highly valued.

- Execution of annual business plan and achievement of revenue/profitability targets.
- Expansion of supplier/manufacturer partnerships and solution portfolio.
- Growth in team size and capabilities.
- HCH’s market recognition as a top sustainable HVAC provider in the region.
