Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment is partnering up with a growing, exciting company in the Western Nassau County area. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
This is a Perm Opportunity. After 90 days, there is an option to work 1 day remote and 4 days in office.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process accounts payable checks, credit card payments, and positive pay files.

Maintain accurate vendor records.

Reconcile vendor balances.
-
Prepare data for 1099 reporting.

Reconcile vendor aging statements.
-
Reconcile vendor statements and credit card transactions.
-
Address internal and external inquiries regarding payments and discrepancies.

Support other departmental activities.
Qualifications:
-
Experience:
-
2-3 years of recent accounts payable experience
-

Skills:
-
Strong attention to detail and efficiency.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reconciliation skills.

Software Knowledge:
-
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
