Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM


SUMMARY:

Family Service League is seeking a Per Diem Social Worker for the DASH (Diagnostic, Assessment, and Stabilization Hub) Crisis Center. The Clinical staff will provide crisis assessment and stabilization services within a 24/7 Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct clinical crisis and risk assessments and provide stabilization services to adults, adolescents, and children with a full range of DSM diagnoses, including mental health and substance use disorders.

· Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with regulations using an electronic medical record.

· Provide linkage and follow-up to clients during the stabilization period and immediately after.

· Coordinate care with outside providers and collateral contacts.

· Attend routine supervision and team meetings.

· Coordinate treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Complete training and maintain proficiency in de-escalation and physical restraint techniques.

· Establish and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally to support organizational goals.

· Foster teamwork by working cooperatively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions.

· Assess situations to determine importance, urgency, and risks to make timely and sound decisions.

· Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress toward goals, and track relevant details and activities.

· Identify causes of problems, gather and process relevant information, generate solutions, and make informed recommendations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master’s degree in a relevant clinical field is required, or prior experience interning at Family Service League and actively working toward a Master’s degree.

Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or limited permit) is preferred.

At least six months experience in a behavioral health setting is required. Clinical experience is preferred.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required. Experience with an Electronic Health Record is preferred

Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Evening/ weekend hours are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
