Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Port Washington, New York. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and communication skills to contribute to a dynamic workplace. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and assist with various administrative tasks to support the office.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them appropriately.
• Receive, log, and distribute daily mail and packages to the appropriate departments.
• Organize and sort accounts payable tickets before passing them to the accounting team for processing.
• Maintain accurate filing systems for processed documents.
• Monitor and order office supplies to ensure all departments are adequately stocked.
• Conduct regular inventory checks for office supplies and restock as needed.
• Coordinate and decorate the kitchen for monthly birthday breakfasts and other small office events.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing mail, deliveries, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment and supply management.
