As the Domestic Violence Family Court Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Participate in all aspects of the Family Court based Justice for Families project including attending trainings, engaging in the Safe and Together Institute assessment, training and coaching activities
- Serve as an on-site court Advocate including working with Program Director to plan with partners, plan and participate in trainings, provide community outreach and direct client assistance
- Complete intake with each client that includes an assessment of needed supports and services, available resources and a plan for implementation
- Provide follow-up as needed with each client
- Provide referrals and linkages with other agencies as appropriate
Domestic Violence Family Court Advocate Minimum Salary: $ 20.00
Domestic Violence Family Court Advocate Maximum Salary: $ 20.00
Domestic Violence Family Court Advocate Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4PM
- (35 hours/week)
- Hours are flexible as court may last until 5pm
- On-Call Shifts are required
- Per night and rotates through staff
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in Human Services or a related field
- 1 - 3 years of experience working with a diverse population
- VALID Driver's License, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
