Based on the NYC vaccine mandate effective 12/27/2021, all employees will be required to show proof of vaccination in accordance with the mandate.CLIENT X-Labs is the cross-disciplinary, creative innovation group focused on the intersection of human-centered design and outdoor media. The group, which is situated within the larger CLIENT X marketing department, comprises four key teams, each working in lockstep to explore the future of outdoor media from concept to realization. Digital Creative Future-forward concept development and realization Experience Design Omni-channel design focused on the consumer experience and culturally relevant solutions Creative Technology Enhancing outdoor experiences through emerging technology integrations Dynamic Content Interactive, data-driven, and full-motion content productionTHE ROLE:As Creative Technologist, Front End Development you will balance your time between developing new micro-sites and maintaining the existing corporate website OUTFRONT.COM in partnership with XLabs Content and Design teams under the guidance of the Director of Creative Technology. You will also closely partner with content coordinators from OUTFRONT Interactive Services, who manage all content updates to the corporate website and the 3rd party implementation partner.In addition to maintaining our existing web properties, you will have the opportunity to flex your creativity and develop new skills by contributing to an ongoing stream of projects that explore emerging technologies such as augmented reality, dynamic data-driven content, programmatic creativity, and data visualizations. These high-profile projects are often developed in our downtown Manhattan lab and tested across digital OOH media in major US markets including the New York’s Liveoard Network and on massive displays in Times Square. These award-winning projects are a collaborative effort across the entire XLabs team and often lead to a number of press mentions.As a Creative Technologist, Front End Developer your primary responsibility is the development and testing of web properties and experiences, however, you should be comfortable presenting ideas and solutions and communicating effectively in reviews where your POV is desired.Creative Technology

REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant agency or development team experience preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience working as a front-end developer
- Expert in HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS
- JavaScript frameworks, React, Vue, Angular
- Familiar with animation libraries; Three.js or D3.js
- Proficiency in version control (Bitbucket or GitHub)
- Adobe CC, specifically Photoshop, After Effects is a plus
- Preferred but not required backend knowledge of Node.js, Python, Ruby
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS
- QA - Unit Testing
- Extremely organized with strong communication abilities
- Team player with loads of empathy for all for your colleagues
