Job Description
LendingOne is a direct private lender for Real Estate professionals headquartered in Boca Raton, FL with additional offices in Charlotte, NC and Great Neck, NY. LendingOne made the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America in 2019. Along with being rated one of the Top Workplaces in 2025 - for the fourth consecutive year - by Sun Sentinel!
LendingOne’s dedicated Institutional Group specializes in delivering customized debt solutions to institutional and middle-market investors. We have built a national platform that combines the agility of a private lender with the sophistication and scale institutional investors require.
Our Institutional Group focuses on structured finance solutions for larger and more complex portfolios, offering tailored capital for acquisition, refinance, portfolio recapitalization, and transitional bridge financing. We work directly with institutional clients, family offices, funds, and high-volume sponsors, as well as through strategic broker and correspondent relationships.
LendingOne has originated over $6 billion in real estate capital, and the Institutional Group continues to be a key growth driver, expanding our footprint across major U.S. markets. We are not a bank or broker—we are a fully capitalized lending partner with vertically integrated capabilities and the ability to execute reliably and at scales.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven, high-performing Director of Sales to accelerate the growth of our Institutional Group at LendingOne. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on sourcing new business, building lasting relationships with institutional and middle-market investors, and driving deals from introduction to close. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be a key force in expanding LendingOne’s reach—originating and structuring complex real estate debt solutions, opening new channels, and deepening engagement with key investment partners. If you're passionate about real estate finance and have the hunger to win new relationships and grow market share, we want to talk to you.
This role is ideal for a seasoned individual contributor with deep expertise in institutional real estate finance and the ability to work cross-functionally to move deals from concept to close.

- Demonstrated ability to source, develop, and convert business into funded transactions.
- Demonstrated track record of executing large-scale, complex transactions within the institutional real estate sector.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Deep understanding of real estate capital structures, lending products, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with C-level executives and institutional partners.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic campaigns.
- Own the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation to close—for institutional and middle-market investors.
- Drive the institutional client acquisition strategy through targeted outreach, pitch development, and value-based relationship building.
- Work alongside the operations team to synthesize data from property-level financials, market research, appraisals, and macroeconomic trends to assess deal feasibility and risk.
