Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a temp-to-perm Customer Service Admin to join the Manhattan, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and identify clients’ needs to achieve maximum satisfaction while managing large volumes of calls and web chats
  • Address clientele inquiries promptly and professionally by providing product insight, availability, and company processes
  • Handle product or servicing issues by clarifying the client’s complaint, following up with the warehouse, explaining the best solution or alternatives, and expediting a resolution
  • Foster positive and empathetic professional attitudes towards clients at all times
  • Perform data entry and processing of orders, reserves, samples, book requests, as well as registering new client accounts
  • Oversee assigned showrooms effectively and efficiently, acting as their main point of contact for resolving issues, building positive rapport, and achieving win-win outcomes
  • Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues, managers, and clients respectfully when necessary by adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Liaise internally with various departments to assist in facilitating client needs and requests


Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Data entry skills
  • Quick and accurate typing skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications
