We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Work From Home DevOps Engineer to join our team at MetrixIT Solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools needed for our software development projects. This is a full-time position and only open to applicants residing in the USA.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve processes and productivity through automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of applications.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of microservices and containerized applications.
Manage configuration, orchestration, and version control systems.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Desired Experience:

2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary for the position ranges from $98,000 to $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
