Our client is seeking a skilled Project Management Planner to join their team for a 12-month assignment working in White Plains. As a Project Management Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of various projects within our organization.
Job Summary:In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, coordinating project activities, and ensuring the timely and successful completion of assigned projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, establish milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies- Coordinate project activities and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them- Collaborate with team members to resolve challenges and implement corrective actions as needed- Provide regular status updates and reports to project sponsors and leadership- Assist in the implementation of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field- 3-5 years of experience in project management or planning roles, preferably in the public sector or utilities industry- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Asana- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams- Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices
