Job Description
Well-known casual dining establishment in Massapequa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the daily activities of both&nbsp;the front / back of the house.
Candidate Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2+ years' experience in a restaurant management position</li>
<li>Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines either independently or as part of a team</li>
<li>Ability to provide support in any area as required, i.e., back end, expediting, front end, etc.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Hires, fires, trains and evaluates employees for front end / back end staff&nbsp;</li>
<li>Oversight of all daily activities; knowledge of day to day operations</li>
<li>Food procurement / food vendor relationships</li>
<li>Develops and implements food budgets</li>
<li>Motivates employees through incentives and positive feedback</li>
<li>Establish superior performance standards for the employee population</li>
<li>Ensures that the company is on track to meet its sales goals</li>
</ul>
This is a full-time position and requires 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends.&nbsp; 2 days off per week guaranteed.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Salary commensurate with experience.
