Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I (Tier II) where you will play a critical role in supporting accurate financial operations. In this position, you’ll handle a variety of accounting tasks and ensure data integrity across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
-Review, code, and enter financial data into systems to ensure accurate sub-ledger and general ledger integration.
-Provide first-level responses to customer and internal inquiries via email, mail, and phone, maintaining quality service standards.
-Research, reconcile, and analyze data within assigned areas to uphold financial and quality benchmarks.
-Generate and deliver reports to supervisors and senior team members, ensuring compliance with internal policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
-Participate in monthly team and department meetings for continuous learning and may present on assigned topics.
-Verify accounting transactions for completeness and consistency, ensuring adherence to controls and policies.
-Contribute to maintaining and updating department procedures, recommending enhancements as needed.
Requirements:
-Some experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or financial operations preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to verify financial transactions for accuracy.
-Effective communication skills to handle inquiries and collaborate with team members.
-Basic knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
-Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to new processes.
-Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and financial systems a plus.
