Responsibilities:
As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day financial tasks. From handling accounts payable and receivable to expertly managing bank accounts and reconciliations, your skills will make a significant impact on our financial success.
But that's not all! You will also have the opportunity to:
- Create comprehensive financial reports that guide decision-making.
- Monitor financial transactions and generate insightful reports.
- Collaborate with accountants when necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and review ledgers to maintain financial integrity.
- Play a vital role in creating, managing, and analyzing company sales projections.
- Assist with internal and external HR-related matters.
- Provide weekly accounting/financial performance reports to executive management.
- Conduct monthly billing for our small real estate company.
- Handle weekly and monthly journal entries.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, particularly Excel and Word.
- At least five years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
- Experience with accounting software required, Centerpoint SW - experience is a PLUS.
- Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
- Ability to prepare special reports as requested in Excel.
- Knowledge of payroll processing using Paychex is a PLUS.
- Real estate experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000-$75,000
Benefits: 401(k), Health insurance/Dental, Paid time off
Physical Setting: Office
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Work Location: Hauppauge, NY 11788 (In-person)
