Responsibilities include issuance of provider identification cards, assist in handling applications, add/terms/changes, billing, updating policies and client contact follow up. Company is seeking an experienced small-midsize account group benefits insurance professional with extensive experience providing high-level hands on client relationship management for large and small groups representing various premium levels, presenting written and oral proposals to clients and conducting open enrollments with client employees.
New York Life & Health License. 5+ years experience in employee benefits and in a brokerage environment. Must have exceptional communication and organizational skills with a firm grasp on all concepts relating to group plan design including medical, dental, life and other lines of employee benefits products. Proficiency in MS Excel, Applied and HealthConnect is a plus as well as marketing new and renewal business.
