Job Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the healthcare industry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive sales, meet targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through strategic planning and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and business objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Conduct regular in-person training sessions, presentations, and performance reviews for the sales team and clients.
- Present sales strategies and solutions to employees and clients to strengthen partnerships and increase engagement.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize team success.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong client relationships and addressing concerns proactively.
- Work in-office at the home base in New Jersey for 2-3 days per week and spend the remaining days in the field with sales representatives across New York.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong ability to train, coach, and motivate a sales team to exceed targets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for both employees and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess performance and drive improvements.
- Ability to travel between New Jersey and New York on a weekly basis.
- Conduct field coaching, develop business plans, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Lead sales training, monitor performance metrics, and drive compliance with company policies.
- Facilitate team collaboration and share best practices.
- Identify top-performing representatives for recognition and career growth opportunities.
- Manage analytics, optimize physician engagement, and support marketing initiatives.
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 plus commission and a travel stipend. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, location, skills, and job-related knowledge.
