Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior or Audit Manager to lead our audit team and oversee the audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and internal controls, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Develop audit strategies and plans to assess internal controls and compliance with regulations.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting auditing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in audit
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
- Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks and Ultra Tax is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCH Prosystem and PPC Smart is desirable.
- Experience in public accounting and real estate industry is preferred.
