Role Overview

The Territory Sales Representative (Outside Account Executive) will lead the market launch and growth of the aligner platform in a specified metropolitan region. The primary focus is on establishing relationships with orthodontic practices and driving adoption of a disruptive new platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the brand ambassador in a newly launched U.S. territory

  • Build and convert a pipeline of medium-to-high volume orthodontic practices

  • Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations to clinicians, highlighting proprietary technology and material advantages

  • Consistently achieve ambitious case and revenue quotas (e.g., 200 new cases by March)

  • Generate business from scratch—leverage an existing network of orthodontists and create new connections rapidly

  • Work with internal teams to optimize sales collateral and customer experience

  • Capture and relay market feedback for ongoing product and service improvement

  • Maintain thorough documentation in CRM systems

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Results-driven mindset (“hunter” mentality)

  • History of successful sales performance in orthodontics or related dental technology verticals

  • Experience with emerging technology brands (e.g., LightForce, Brius, SureSmile, Candid, OrthoFX) is highly valued

  • Demonstrable ability to deliver results within short ramp-up periods (win new practices within first 90 days)

  • Maintains an active territory network (~60–100+ orthodontists)

  • Technically adept and able to communicate complex clinical and tech concepts

  • Expert consultative sales and solutions selling skills

  • Comfortable navigating startup-style environments with minimal structure

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Performance Expectations

  • Win 15+ new orthodontic practice clients within first year (targeting $800K–$900K territory revenue)

  • Hit the ground running in first 30 days; consistently close new accounts within the first 90 days

  • Sustain or exceed quota every quarter

Compensation Rewards

  • Competitive base salary ($100K–$110K, negotiable up to $120K for top performers)

  • Uncapped commissions; OTE $190K–$200K+ with annual kicker for quota achievement

  • Role offers foundational ground-floor influence and upward mobility in a high-growth organization

Culture Values

The company values integrity, transparency, accountability, speed, and customer-centered innovation. The successful candidate will thrive in a performance-focused environment where directness, loyalty, and rapid execution are essential.
