As the Community Engagement And Housing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Develop and implement the community engagement activities as provided by the Domestic Violence Program (DVP).

  • Recruit, screen, train and supervise volunteers.

  • Organize and oversee volunteers including hotline volunteers, donation volunteers, office volunteers, interns, etc.

  • Develop and maintain volunteer materials including publicity and training materials, newsletters, schedules, and additional materials as needed.

  • Ensure proper scheduling including interface with DVP’s phone system administrator and after-hours answering service ensuring appropriate operations.

  • Develop and maintain a community engagement plan including social media, community resources - printed, groups and public forums

Community Engagement And Housing Coordinator Minimum Salary: $20.00

Community Engagement And Housing Coordinator Maximum Salary: $20.00

Outreach Coordinator Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (35 hours per week); Must have availability for on call shifts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1year or less of experience - we will train you!
  • Knowledge of Domestic Violence and vulnerable populations
