The Opportunity:
Join a world-class Finance Department in the firm’s New York office, with a focus on Restructuring & Special Situations. As a valued member of this powerhouse team, you will represent a premier roster of clients — including multinational corporations, major banks, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and creditors’ committees — across high-profile domestic and international restructurings, distressed M&A, and in-court bankruptcy proceedings.
What You'll Do:

Advise on complex restructurings, refinancings, and distressed situations

Represent a diverse mix of stakeholders: debtors, lenders, investors, and committees

Lead and support negotiations, due diligence, and restructuring plans

Draft and review key documents including DIP financing, restructuring support agreements, and Chapter 11 filings
-
Collaborate with a cross-practice team of market-leading attorneys in finance, litigation, M&A, and tax
What We're Looking For:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in financial restructuring (Big Law experience preferred)

Familiarity with Chapter 11, distressed asset transactions, and bankruptcy litigation

Academic Credentials:

Strong academic record from a top-tier law school

Skills & Attributes:

Exceptional analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills

Ability to manage client expectations and deadlines in fast-paced environments

Bar Admission:

Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar (or eligible to waive in)
