Tolerance Project Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting understanding, compassion, and social awareness through art and design. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Studio Assistant to help keep our projects and communications running smoothly.
Position Overview:
The Studio Assistant will provide daily support to the Director, who has dyslexia, by assisting with communication, posting images, and managing online platforms. This role involves both in-office and remote work, with three days in the studio and two days working from home each week.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director with responding to emails and texts

Update and maintain the Tolerance Project website

Manage and send newsletters using Mailchimp

Support daily studio operations and light administrative tasks

Maintain organization and ensure clear, accurate communication
Requirements:

Proficient in English with strong spelling and grammar skills

Experience updating social media platforms

Familiarity with Mailchimp and website content management

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Must have valid working papers

Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Previous administrative or communications experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST (15 hours per week)

Paid hourly, rate based on experience
