Finance: The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks Director, Esoteric ABS Structuring in New York, NY to drive a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: analyzing Collateral Data Tapes to create stratification tables, replines, performance data, and tie out numbers with accountants and issuers utilizing CAS tool; evaluating new transaction collateral and rating agency criteria to determine most efficient bond structure; utilizing Intex DealMaker and Excel/VBA to optimize capital structures with targeted bond sizing and credit enhancements, which pass rating agency stresses, and provide best execution; negotiating enhancement levels and performance triggers with rating agencies to achieve desired ratings, including working with agencies on new asset classes to help develop methodologies; running and tying-out collateral strats, replines, ysoc, pricing cashflows, and credit risk retention (CRR) with accountants; reviewing deal documents for completeness and work with lawyers to make required changes; and answering investor structural questions and facilitating their internal credit committee requests. 10% travel required nationally/internationally. FINRA Series 63 required. FINRA Series 7TO required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $300,000 and $300,000 per year. 40 hours per week.
