Hourly Rate: $40–$50/hr. (W2)

Genesis House, located in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District, is more than a luxury automotive showroom—it’s an immersive cultural and hospitality destination. Spanning three levels, it blends innovative design, curated Genesis vehicles, fine dining, a Korean tea pavilion, a rare book library, and an advanced event space.

We’re seeking a Temporary Event Manager to support our team in bringing unforgettable events to life at Genesis House. This is a hands-on, project-based role ideal for professionals open to short-term assignments who thrive in high-profile, fast-paced luxury environments.

As the on-site liaison for clients and stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in ensuring flawless event execution—from planning and timelines to managing vendors and overseeing large-scale activations. You’ll report to a Senior Executive Producer while working closely with Genesis House management.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Event Producer in planning, logistics, and execution of high-profile events.
  • Oversee event budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead vendor and client communications, ensuring all needs are met.
  • Manage presentations, documentation, and reporting for key stakeholders.
  • Supervise event set-up, floor planning, and execution.
  • Serve as a professional on-site representative for Genesis brand experiences.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide consultative guidance.
  • Keep cross-functional teams aligned and projects running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Background in event production, luxury hospitality, automotive, or premium retail.
  • Proven ability to plan and run large-scale events.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and adapt to evolving needs.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable in fast-moving environments.
