Director of Sales – Dollar/Value Channel
Greater Tarrytown, NY area

A leading consumer products manufacturer is looking for a strategic and driven Director of Sales to lead its Dollar/Value Channel strategy. This role will focus on growing existing business, capturing market share, and driving profitable growth across key accounts, including Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and executing initiatives that align with category and channel trends.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a growing channel within a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales strategy and execution across the Dollar/Value retail channel

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and cross-functional partners

  • Analyze category, shopper, and channel insights to guide strategy

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Consumer Products/CPG sales

  • 3+ years of recent experience selling into Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar

  • Proven success in selling branded or value brands

  • Strong understanding of category and shopper insights and retail trends

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Willingness to travel as needed
