Job Description
Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the final stages of equipment acceptance for Phases 3 and 4 of the Fairport Expansion. Reporting to Lucas Coolidge, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely qualification, documentation, and turnover of new equipment and infrastructure, maintaining alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate the equipment acceptance process for all outstanding installations in B60 and annex areas, including stockroom and Optical Cleaning Center (OCC) workstreams.
  2. Track and manage punch lists, qualification protocols, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
  3. Maintain and regularly update project schedules, ensuring alignment with the broader Fairport Expansion timeline and capital milestone goals.
  4. Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders such as Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams.
  5. Support documentation and reporting efforts related to capital capitalization and project closeout activities.
  6. Ensure all acceptance processes comply with safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
  2. 5-7+ years of project management experience; self-starter with demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  3. Background in manufacturing, technical, or optics fields preferred; experience in construction or other project management disciplines also valuable.
  4. Proven experience with equipment qualification, capital project closeout, and cross-functional team coordination.
  5. Familiarity with cleanroom environments and precision optics manufacturing is a plus.
  6. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to strategize priorities and identify efficiencies.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
