Account Manager New York City
Full-Time | $75,000 to $90,000 + Bonus | Monday to Friday (9 AM to 5 PM)
Travel Required | Managing 2 to 3 Hospital Accounts
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Account Manager to oversee operations across 2 to 3 hospital locations in the New York City area. This role is ideal for someone with sterile processing or OR experience who can juggle day-to-day operations while thinking big-picture about performance, growth, and service excellence.
What Youll Do
Youll lead field teams, support hospital operations, and serve as the primary point of contact for hospital administration and OR leadership, where you will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital executives and clinical staff (OR Directors, Surgeons, CSPD teams, etc.)
- Supervise Account Supervisors and Lead Technicians across multiple sites
- Hire, onboard, coach, and support frontline staff, ensuring all teams follow company procedures and deliver excellent service
- Ensure all contractual, safety, credentialing, and QA commitments are met at each site
- Travel regularly between sites to assess team performance, meet with hospital leadership, and support operations as needed
- Oversee training, staff scheduling, and coverage for leaves or staffing gaps
- Analyze regional performance data, monitor KPIs, and manage P&L statements
- Support implementation of our Surgical Cost Management Platform (SCMP), drive digital adoption, and report usage insights to leadership
- Partner with HR on people operations and maintain stellar customer service across all accounts
This is a Monday to Friday role, typically 9 AM to 5 PM, but you must be capable of managing the 24/7 nature of hospital operations as needed.
What Were Looking For
Youll thrive in this role if youre detail-oriented, people-focused, and tech-savvy, with:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Operating Room or Sterile Processing
- Previous leadership experience (preferred)
- CRCST certification (required); CER is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written + verbal)
- Familiarity working with C-suite hospital staff
- ERP and SCMP software experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to travel up to 75% between facilities
- Covid-19 vaccination required
Compensation & Benefits
