Job Description

Mopar is seeking a strategic and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead a team of Area Managers across the region. This role is responsible for driving performance, fostering dealer success, and developing field talent. The Field Operations Manager will serve as a coach, facilitator, and performance leader—ensuring that Area Managers are equipped to support dealerships in achieving sales, service, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Managers, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight
  • \n

  • Dealer Performance: Drive improvement across dealership KPIs by supporting Area Managers in implementing best practices and strategic initiatives
  • \n

  • Training & Development: Facilitate ongoing training and development for Area Managers, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed
  • \n

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with HQ and regional leadership to align field strategies with corporate goals and initiatives
  • \n

  • Field Execution: Ensure consistent execution of programs, campaigns, and processes across the region, maintaining high standards of performance and accountability
  • \n

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Warranty, Express Lane, Retail, Wholesale, and Data teams to support integrated dealer success
  • \n

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze regional performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions where needed to meet targets
  • \n

  • Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary communication link between field staff and HQ, ensuring timely updates, feedback, and alignment
  • \n

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field
  • \n

  • 7+ years of experience in field operations, dealership management, or automotive leadership roles
  • \n

  • Proven experience managing teams and driving performance across multiple locations
  • \n

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • \n

  • Frequent travel frequently across the region
  • \n

  • Proficiency in performance analytics, reporting tools, and strategic planning
  • \n

  • Deep understanding of Mopar products, programs, and dealer operations
  • \n

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and change management
  • \n

  • Strong presentation and communication skills for executive-level reporting

Salary: $123,200 to $184,800, pay will depend on several factors including experience and location of position.
