Responsibilities:
• Oversee and assist with the monthly close process, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Compile and deliver internal financial reports to leadership on a monthly basis.
• Take an active role in day-to-day operational accounting activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, propose solutions, and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain an inquisitive mindset to ensure adherence to compliance standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to introduce and document new processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Support quarterly and annual accounting tasks, including audits and reporting requirements.
• Possess 3-7 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Public accounting or audit experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with general ledger systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and present findings to leadership.
