David Zwirneris seeking a Treasury Manager will oversee all treasury and cash management activities for our global art gallery, ensuring effective liquidity management, banking oversight, and strategic planning across international operations.This role will manage multi-currency cash positions, lead cash flow forecasting, and support inventory transactions, capital expenditure initiatives, and credit facility compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical foundation and cross-functional collaboration experience, especially across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and inventory management teams. The Treasury Manager will have full ownership of the treasury function, working independently and pro-actively to manage cash needs and provide timely reports to management. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role will also involve working closely with the CFO and other key members of the leadership team.
Treasury Manager | $115k-125k
Primary responsibilities include:
- Cash Management & Banking Oversight
- Manage daily liquidity and bank balances across global accounts in multiple currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, HKD, etc.)
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and manage user access, signatories, and account controls.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
- Cash Flow Forecasting & Modeling
- Build and maintain short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate working capital needs and funding requirements.
- Monitor foreign currency exposure and support FX hedging or conversion strategies.
- Inventory Purchase & Sales Oversight
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to track and forecast cash implications of artwork acquisitions and sales.
- Support transaction planning, timing, and payment coordination for consigned and owned works.
- Capital Projects & Expenditure Planning
- Provide oversight and financial tracking of gallery renovations, real estate, and other capital initiatives.
- Lead cash forecast alignment with capital expenditure budgets and project milestones.
- Credit Facility Management
- Oversee usage, covenant compliance, and reporting for the company's revolving credit facility.
- Monthly borrowing base reports and calculations.
- Liaise with lenders and internal stakeholders to ensure proper documentation and timely drawdowns/paydowns (as applicable).
- Prepare reporting packages and support annual renewals or amendments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with AR and AP teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of treasury-related transactions.
- Lead treasury reconciliation activity with accounting, and support monthly close.
- Own and optimize treasury/accounting systems, integrations, best practices and.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a gallery, auction house, or retail/luxury goods environment
- Familiarity with Accounting Softwares (Intacct, Sage, or similar)
- Understanding of the evolving crypto and digital asset landscape, including tokenized payments, stablecoins, or digital custody frameworks
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation a plus
What you'll need to have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or cash management, ideally in a global setting
- Prior experience with global cash operations and multiple currency environments
- Strong modeling and forecasting skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience with treasury management systems and online banking portals
- Excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work cross-functionally across departments
