Your Role:
As the LeadRevenue Cycle Specialist, you'll play a critical role in managing and optimizing revenue cycle operations, ensuring seamless billing processes, and driving financial performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the liaison with the third-party billing organization to ensure accurate claim processing and timely follow-ups.
- Overseeing accounts receivable, payment posting, reconciliations, and patient payment arrangements.
- Analyzing reports to identify and resolve billing issues, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Developing and implementing billing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Managing and approving patient statements, coordinating audits, and preparing detailed reports for leadership.
- Providing training and support to staff, front office teams, and providers on billing and coding updates.
- Collaborating with the credentialing team to ensure accurate billing for providers.
- Managing vendors and staff related to revenue cycle operations while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Traveling to other locations as needed to provide on-site support and training.
What You Bring:
- Skills & Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare billing.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Willingness to travel between sites as required.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in Medical Office Assistance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in coding and billing, with expertise in Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) practices.
- Certified Medical Billing Specialist/Medical Coder credential (highly preferred).
Compensation:$60,000 - $75,000 annually
