Your Role:

As the LeadRevenue Cycle Specialist, you'll play a critical role in managing and optimizing revenue cycle operations, ensuring seamless billing processes, and driving financial performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the liaison with the third-party billing organization to ensure accurate claim processing and timely follow-ups.
  • Overseeing accounts receivable, payment posting, reconciliations, and patient payment arrangements.
  • Analyzing reports to identify and resolve billing issues, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing billing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Managing and approving patient statements, coordinating audits, and preparing detailed reports for leadership.
  • Providing training and support to staff, front office teams, and providers on billing and coding updates.
  • Collaborating with the credentialing team to ensure accurate billing for providers.
  • Managing vendors and staff related to revenue cycle operations while fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Traveling to other locations as needed to provide on-site support and training.


What You Bring:

  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare billing.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel between sites as required.


Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree in Medical Office Assistance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in coding and billing, with expertise in Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) practices.
  • Certified Medical Billing Specialist/Medical Coder credential (highly preferred).


Compensation:$60,000 - $75,000 annually
