SUMMARY

The Server’s job is to execute River Stone Manor’s steps of service at the highest quality level while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

To be in the hospitality business, it is imperative to have a service mindset. Hospitality is defined as “the generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors or strangers.” This is what we do. Our vision is to have our each of our venues rank the highest in its relative market in terms of hospitality.

Event Coordinator and Banquet Manager

None

HOURS

Driven by weekly schedule, weekend availability required



POSITION DETAILS


Server Accountabilities:

  • Assists in the proper set-up and take down of all catered events.
  • Attends all pre-function meetings to review all details of the event with Banquet Manager
  • Communicates feedback from guests and/or associates to the Event Manager and/or Captain
  • Is familiar with all food being served at events including preparation, main ingredients, side dishes and garnishes, and any allergies listed
  • Takes orders using menu cards with position numbers by confirming with the guests at the table
  • Clears each table thoroughly between courses removing soiled silverware and glassware
  • Completes quality checks immediately after each course is served
  • When possible, assists fellow servers with table maintenance in order to exceed guest expectations as a team
  • Maintains cleanliness and order of server stations





POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong work ethic, guest-focused attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours
  • Flexibility; working varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
