As a Payroll Associate, you'll be essential to our payroll team, responsible for collecting, verifying, and entering timesheets, employee information, and other payroll-related data into our system. This role requires the ability to work independently while also possessing strong communication skills to engage effectively with employees, management, and colleagues. Proficiency in computer systems and sharp attention to detail are crucial to ensure accuracy in all payroll tasks. Your contributions will help maintain a smooth payroll process and support the overall efficiency of our operations.

What We Ask of You:
- Process hourly staff payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring deadlines are met for daily, weekly, and monthly submissions
- Accurately enter data into the payroll system in a timely manner
- Perform additional related duties as required to support payroll operations
- Follow through on all assigned tasks diligently, ensuring completion in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate employee and union records for compliance and reporting purposes
Experience & Competencies:
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing
- Ability to foster a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent Danforth in the most professional, positive manner
Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $50,000-$55,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
