The Childrens Program, which includes Mont Lawn Summer and City Camps, provides children and families with a year-round opportunity to grow in relationship with God and one another, as they build the social and emotional skills to thrive and succeed.
Reporting to the Director, Childrens Program, the Administrative Associate is an integral part of the Childrens Program team and will provide administrative support for all programing through the following responsibilities: camper enrollment and recruitment for both summer and school-year programming, data management and reporting, event planning and logistics, and office support. The Administrative Associate will participate in sponsored events and oversee daily tasks for interns and volunteers. This role will assist in the smooth operations of City Camp and Summer Camp administrative offices and workflow/documentation of recruitment/hiring of summer staff, recruitment/registration of both city and summer campers. An agreed upon rhythm of travel to Mont Lawn Summer Camp will be required to open, sustain, and close summer camp office operations.
Specific Responsibilities but are not limited to:
- Provide communication and recordkeeping support to Mont Lawn Camp and City Camp program staff to recruit and enroll campers for both Summer and City Camps.
- Process registrations and communicate relevant information to parents and families, both written and verbal.
- Serve as point person for Childrens team by recording, reporting, and entering Childrens Program data into data management systems.
- Support Director and Assistant Director in developing and executing plans for City Camp for Mont Lawn Camp and City Camp events; actively participate in Summer Camp.
- Provide support to Assistant Director, transportation logistics to Mont Lawn Camp and designated City Camp outings.
- Support Director in arranging calendar and logistics for summer staff and camper recruitment events and trips throughout the calendar year.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 10:00am - 6:30pm
Requirements:
- Embrace's the organizations Statement of Faith.
- 1 year in childrens ministry, non-profit, or human services.
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (or related software).
- Experience in Childrens Ministry.
- Strong teaching & discipleship experience.
Preferred:
- Certified in Mental Health First Aid.
- Certified in Non-violent Crisis Intervention.
Salary commensurate with relevant education & experience: $40,000 - $45,000 annually.
