Position Overview:
A well-established CPA firm with over 80 years of success is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This firm offers a full range of accounting, auditing, tax, and estate planning services, and is known for its professional environment, supportive leadership, and long-standing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Maintain strong client relationships and oversee engagement workflows

Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns including:

Individual (1040)
-
Fiduciary (1041)
-
Corporate (1120)
-
Partnership (1065)
-

Provide tax and financial planning services for high-net-worth individuals, including trusts, estates, gifting, and retirement strategies

Develop year-end projections and tax strategies, including quarterly estimates
-
Conduct technical tax research and present findings to internal teams

Respond to tax notices and manage audit/examination processes with agencies

Supervise and mentor staff accountants across multiple engagements

Evaluate team performance and deliver feedback for professional growth

Assist in delivering client-facing content, including webinars and updates
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a diverse tax background

CPA designation preferred

Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks
-
Strong understanding of current tax codes and compliance requirements
-
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Effective time management and ability to lead engagements
